About the Wedding…

We really are getting married in a state forest. Wear something comfy and bring a layer. It will be hot in the day, cool at night, and buggy in between. We plan on having some games and activities after the ceremony before dinner, so if you want to take part, plan on sneakers or bare feet. Barbeque to follow, so don’t get fancy on our behalf.

Also, there is a pond with a swimming area and a little beach around the bend from the wedding site, so if you're interested, bring a suit and towel.

Patchwork Cake…

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we decided it would be more fitting and fun to make a patchwork cake. So… if you’re interested in being part of this project, bring a square cake - of any size, flavor, color, style – to add in.

Gifts...

Gifts aren’t necessary – we are happy to have a chance to share the day with you. If you are so inclined, bring a square for the cake! Traditionally, wedding gifts are meant to help set up a couple in their new home, and we are pretty well set. If you are still looking for something to give, there are several projects going on in our home with which we could use some help. If you want more details, ask Lea or Evelyn.

Ok, ok, we give in. Due to a number of requests, we have recently opened an account at a local building store where we are hoping to buy some replacement windows. If you'd like to help out with the windows, you can call Cowls Building Supply and make a contribution to Lea Monte's account. 25 Sunderland Road, P.O.
